Peñoles is a Granite bouldering area in the state Chihuahua in the north-east of Mexico.
There are also about a douzen sport climbing routes in the grades 5.12c to 5.14c, but really interesting are the about 100 boulder problems in all gardes (V2-V15) existing there at the moment.
At place there are little possibilities to get supplies. You should bring everything you need from Jiménez or Hidalgo del Parral. It is okay to camp outside at the boulders with a tent, but as always and everywhere the environment should be respected!
According to visitors the best bouldering area in Mexico and one of the best areas in the world with a huge potential!
