Situation: Saalachtal next to Lofer
Climate:   Situated in the valley of the river Saalach in mostly deciduous forest at an altitude of about 600 m. Best time is spring and autumn, in winter possible only in good conditions
Rock:       Boulders of limestone

More than 200 boulder problems up to Fb 8b+ in about 13 areas

Normally the following is self evident, nevertheless here some important notes how to behave in the area. Please help to avoid unnecessary problems caused by senseless behaving like it happened recently in some areas:

• No manipulation of holds (wire-brush, burner, ...)
• Park sensfully (on the marked places)
• Leave nothing at the boulders (trash, cigarette stubs, tape, etc.)
• Don't make noise (radios, shouting all the time, etc.)
• No violent changes on the vegetation (cutting trees etc.)
• Don't make fire-places
• No wild camping (campings in Lofer and around)
• Dogs on the leash
• If it should be absolutely necessary, relieve nature at a discrete place and bury all in a deep hole
• Remove all chalk marks after bouldering
• Don't walk through high grass
• Meadows are not there for a nap inside, but are of agricultural use
• .....
